Casiola Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

You may hire a manager to assume responsibility for the daily management and supervision of the Franchised Business, only if: (a) the manager meets all of our minimum standards and criteria for managers; (b) the manager completes our initial training program; (c) the manager signs our confidentiality and non-competition agreements; and (d) the manager agrees, in writing, to assume responsibility for the on-site management and supervision of the Franchised Business (an "Operating Manager"). All of your employees and other agents and representatives who may have access to our confidential information must sign a confidentiality agreement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee chooses to hire a manager to oversee the daily operations of the Franchised Business, that manager must complete Casiola's initial training program. This requirement is in place to ensure that the manager meets Casiola's minimum standards and criteria.

In addition to completing the initial training program, the manager must also sign confidentiality and non-competition agreements. Furthermore, the manager must agree in writing to assume responsibility for the on-site management and supervision of the Casiola Business.

This requirement ensures that anyone in a management position is adequately trained in the Casiola system. The initial training program is approximately 10 days in length. The franchisee is responsible for paying a supplemental training fee for replacement Operating Managers, which is currently $750 per manager per day.
