What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must secure a binding lease for their administrative office with a duration equal to the full term of the Franchise Agreement. This requirement is part of ensuring the franchisee has a stable and approved location from which to operate their Casiola business throughout the franchise term.

This stipulation ensures that Casiola franchisees have a consistent business location for the duration of their agreement, preventing disruptions that could arise from lease expirations or relocation. The franchisee must secure the administrative office within 60 days of the agreement's effective date.

This requirement does not apply if the franchisee operates the administrative office from their personal residence, provided that doing so is permitted by local laws and regulations. The franchisee is responsible for independently verifying compliance with all applicable laws, including zoning regulations, if they choose to operate from a home office. If a commercial location is necessary, Casiola must approve the site.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the length of the franchise term and ensure they are comfortable committing to a lease of equivalent duration. They should also factor in the costs associated with leasing a commercial space, if required, and ensure that the location meets Casiola's standards and specifications.
