What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must obtain prior written consent from Casiola to relocate their Administrative Office within their designated Operating Market. This consent will not be unreasonably withheld, provided the franchisee is in compliance with the terms of the Franchise Agreement and the new facility meets Casiola's current standards and specifications.

This requirement ensures that the Administrative Office continues to meet Casiola's standards even after relocation. Casiola retains the right to ensure the new location is suitable and maintains the brand's image and operational effectiveness. The franchisee is prohibited from operating the Franchised Business from a residence outside of the Operating Market.

This provision allows Casiola to maintain control over where franchisees conduct administrative tasks, ensuring these locations are appropriate for business operations and uphold brand standards. It also prevents franchisees from moving their administrative functions to unsuitable locations, such as a residential property outside the designated Operating Market. Franchisees need to factor in the time and potential costs associated with securing approval for a new location when considering a relocation.
