What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is a Corporate Entity, Casiola requires that the Managing Owner be approved by them. The Franchise Agreement stipulates that the managing shareholder or partner of a Corporate Entity must be personally responsible for the daily management and supervision of the Franchised Business, and this individual is referred to as the "Managing Owner."

Casiola must approve the Managing Owner, and the Managing Owner must dedicate their full-time efforts to managing and operating the franchise. Furthermore, the Managing Owner must satisfactorily complete Casiola's initial training and obtain all required licenses and permits necessary to operate a Casiola Business within the designated Operating Market.

In the event of the death or permanent disability of the Managing Owner, the remaining owners of the Corporate Entity must appoint a new Managing Owner within 30 days, and this new Managing Owner must also be approved by Casiola. Within 60 days of the appointment, the replacement Managing Owner must complete Casiola's initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction. This requirement ensures that the franchise maintains consistent management and operational standards, even in unforeseen circumstances.
