What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola has the discretion to grant or deny requests for waivers or deferrals of obligations related to the Brand Development Fund and Advertising Cooperative. Casiola may choose to reject one franchisee's request while approving another's.

This means that as a prospective Casiola franchisee, you should be aware that even if you have a valid reason for needing a temporary reprieve from these financial obligations, Casiola is not obligated to grant it. The decision is entirely at Casiola's discretion. This also implies that the approval of a waiver or deferral for one franchisee does not set a precedent or guarantee similar treatment for others.

This clause protects Casiola's ability to manage its financial resources and marketing strategies effectively. It allows Casiola to make decisions based on its overall business objectives, without being bound by individual franchisee circumstances. Franchisees should carefully consider this provision and its potential impact on their business operations and financial planning.
