What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a qualified employee seeking the 50% discount on the initial franchise fee must request it at the time of their initial franchise application. To qualify for this discount, the individual must have been employed by Casiola or its affiliate for two or more years.
The initial franchise fee for a single territory is $35,000. The 50% discount would reduce this fee to $17,500 for eligible employees. This discount applies only to the first Franchise Agreement for the employee's first territory.
The discount is subject to Casiola's approval and agreement to award a franchise. This means that even if an employee meets the employment duration requirement and requests the discount at the appropriate time, Casiola still has the discretion to deny the discount or the franchise itself. Prospective franchisees should confirm their eligibility and the approval process with Casiola during their due diligence.
