What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola will not provide assistance in the delivery or installation of signs and equipment. However, Casiola will provide a list of approved signage and equipment, to the extent that they have designated them, either as part of the Manuals or otherwise in writing. Casiola will also review and approve, in its discretion, a franchisee's proposed signage and equipment.
This means that while Casiola dictates the approved vendors and standards for signs and equipment, the franchisee is responsible for managing the logistics and costs of getting these items delivered and installed at their location. This is a fairly common arrangement in franchising, where the franchisor controls branding and quality but leaves implementation to the franchisee.
Prospective Casiola franchisees should factor in the costs of delivery and installation when budgeting for their initial investment. It would be prudent to ask Casiola for an estimate of these costs based on past experience with other franchisees to get a more accurate picture of the total investment required.
