According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola retains full discretion regarding the marketing standards and media used for the Casiola Business. Casiola will establish, update, and communicate its marketing and promotion standards to franchisees, including the types of marketing media that can be used. Franchisees can request approval for specific marketing media, which Casiola will either approve or disapprove.
All advertising, marketing materials, and mediums used by franchisees must be pre-approved by Casiola in writing and conform to their standards. Franchisees may only use advertising and marketing materials that Casiola designates and approves. Casiola may provide approved marketing templates for franchisees to use at their own expense. Casiola may administer System-wide marketing funds, such as a Brand Development Fund and/or Advertising Cooperative. Casiola has the exclusive right to authorize, establish, designate, and de-authorize local or regional advertising cooperatives, determining their geographic boundaries and other factors. If a cooperative is established in the franchisee's market, the franchisee must contribute to it in amounts and frequency determined by the cooperative.
