What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase and maintain a laptop computer at their administrative office. Additionally, franchisees must have a smartphone with cellular internet access. Casiola requires franchisees to obtain a computer system that includes specific hardware, software, and peripheral devices like printers. Franchisees must also meet Casiola's requirements for back office and point-of-sale systems, phone systems, security systems, backup systems, and high-speed internet access.
Casiola maintains direct access to all information entered or maintained in the point of sale, property management system, and channel manager system. This level of access allows Casiola to monitor operations and ensure compliance with their standards.
These requirements ensure that all Casiola locations operate with a standardized technology infrastructure, which helps maintain consistency and quality across the brand. Prospective franchisees should factor in the costs of these technology requirements when evaluating the overall investment needed to start a Casiola franchise.
