What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Interim Management Service fee is due as invoiced. This fee is $500 per day, plus any actual costs that Casiola incurs. This fee is charged if Casiola elects to manage the franchised business because the franchisee has failed to have the business managed by an authorized Managing Owner or Manager.
This means that if a Casiola franchisee is unable to manage their business themselves, and they do not have an approved manager in place, Casiola can step in to manage the business. The franchisee will then be responsible for paying Casiola $500 per day, in addition to covering Casiola's costs, for as long as Casiola manages the business.
It is important for prospective Casiola franchisees to understand the circumstances under which this fee may be applied and to ensure they have a plan for managing their business to avoid incurring these costs. This could include having a qualified manager in place or ensuring they are able to manage the business themselves.
