What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training Fee is paid at the time of signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee covers initial training for the franchisee or, if the franchisee is a corporation, the Managing Owner, along with up to three designated managers.
This means that a prospective Casiola franchisee must be prepared to pay the Initial Training Fee upfront when committing to the franchise. This fee is separate from other costs associated with attending the training, such as travel expenses and employee wages, which the franchisee is also responsible for. The initial training must be completed no later than 20 days prior to the scheduled opening of the Casiola Business.
Casiola's initial training program takes place over approximately 10 days. If more than four individuals attend the initial training, the franchisee will be charged an additional fee per additional person. This upfront payment requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures the franchisee is committed to the training program and helps Casiola cover the costs of providing the training.
