What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if permitted by local law, a franchisee may operate their Casiola business from a home-based administrative office. However, if a franchisee elects to lease a back-end administrative office and/or operations center, it must be located within their Operating Market and be approved by Casiola.
Alternatively, the franchisee's home office or business office must be located within the operating market of their Casiola Business or within close proximity to the operating market, defined as not more than a 40-minute drive from the Casiola Business.
Casiola also requires that the franchisee obtain approval of the selected location. Within 30 days of Casiola's written receipt and submission of all information and documentation that Casiola may request, Casiola will respond to the franchisee's proposed request for approval or disapproval of the proposed location of the administrative office. Factors taken into consideration include characteristics of the proposed site, whether or not the proposed site meets Casiola's criteria for non-retail back-office operations, and the location of the proposed site relative to the franchisee's overall Operating Market and proximity to other franchisee operating territories.
