What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must operate their franchised business from an administrative office that meets Casiola's standards. The location of this office requires written approval from Casiola and must not be accessible to the public or customers.
If local laws and zoning regulations permit, a franchisee may designate their personal residence as the administrative office, pending independent verification of compliance with these laws. However, if using a personal residence is not permissible, the franchisee is required to establish the administrative office in a commercial location within their designated operating market.
In such cases where a commercial location is necessary, Casiola may provide preliminary plans and specifications for the administrative office. The franchisee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing a location that meets Casiola's standards, presenting it for approval, and securing it within 60 days of the franchise agreement's effective date, as evidenced by a binding lease for the full term of the agreement.
