What This Means (2024 FDD)

Based on the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must take specific actions related to their former Casiola Business, Franchisee's former Casiola Administrative Office, and Franchisee's Administrative Office when the agreement is terminated.

Specifically, franchisees must modify and alter their former Casiola Business, Franchisee's former Casiola Administrative Office, and Franchisee's Administrative Office as required by Casiola to ensure it is de-identified to prevent confusion. This includes removing distinctive physical and structural features, signs, trade dress, and emblems associated with the Casiola system. Franchisees must also make any additional changes reasonably requested by Casiola to completely de-identify the former business.

Casiola franchisees must immediately begin these actions and complete them within the timeframe designated by Casiola. Casiola or its agents may enter the premises to make these alterations at the franchisee's sole risk and expense. Failure to make these modifications in a timely manner will cause irreparable injury to Casiola, and Casiola may seek a court order to authorize its agents to take action at the franchisee's expense.
