What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may operate their Casiola business from a home-based administrative office, if permitted by law. Alternatively, they can choose to operate from a business office. Regardless of the choice, the office must be located within the operating market of the Casiola business or in close proximity to it. Close proximity is defined as no more than a 40-minute drive from the operating market.

This requirement ensures that the franchisee is readily available to manage properties and address any issues that may arise within their designated territory. It also allows for effective oversight and management of the short-term rental properties that Casiola franchisees will be responsible for.

For prospective franchisees, this location requirement is an important consideration when evaluating the Casiola franchise opportunity. Franchisees need to assess whether their preferred location meets the proximity criteria and whether local laws permit a home-based business. This could impact their initial setup costs and ongoing operational logistics.
