What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee does not have the right to establish additional Casiola Businesses. The FDD specifies that the franchise agreement grants the right to develop and operate only one Casiola Business within a designated Operating Market.

While franchisees are not explicitly granted the right to establish additional Casiola Businesses, they may add Additional Territories to their existing franchise, subject to availability, Casiola's approval, and payment of additional Initial Franchise Fees as identified in Item 5. Each Additional Territory will consist of a geographic area that includes up to approximately 5,000 potential rentable individual short-term rental properties. The number of potential rentable individual short-term rental properties will be determined by Casiola at the time of signing the Franchise Agreement and will be determined based on their evaluation of industry data related to potential available individual unit rental properties that may be rented on a short-term basis.

It's important to note that if a franchisee adds Additional Territories, their Minimum Monthly Royalty Fee Requirement and local marketing expenditure will increase. This condition ensures that as the franchisee's territory expands, their financial obligations to Casiola also increase, aligning with the potential for higher revenue generation. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these increased obligations when evaluating the opportunity to add Additional Territories.
