What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their franchised business in strict accordance with the standards, specifications, and requirements set forth in the Operations Manual. This manual contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, and operating procedures prescribed by Casiola for its businesses. These standards include, but are not limited to, approved services and products, system supplies, and authorized suppliers, effective from the date of the agreement and as modified by Casiola in the future.

Casiola will provide franchisees with reasonable notice of any modifications or changes to the Operations Manual, potentially through electronic communications or notifications on an online platform. Franchisees will be given a reasonable period to implement these changes, as determined by Casiola. Franchisees are only allowed to offer and sell approved services and products and use system supplies as designated by Casiola in the Operations Manual.

This requirement ensures uniformity and quality control across all Casiola franchised businesses, which is a common practice in franchising. By adhering to the Operations Manual, franchisees maintain brand consistency and meet customer expectations. However, franchisees should be aware that Casiola has the right to modify the Operations Manual, and franchisees must adapt to these changes within a timeframe deemed reasonable by Casiola. This could require franchisees to invest in new equipment, training, or supplies to comply with the updated standards.
