What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola franchisees do not receive compensation or benefit when Casiola designates itself or its affiliates as the sole supplier of technology systems. Casiola retains the right, in its reasonable business judgment, to designate itself or its affiliates as the exclusive supplier of technology systems, booking systems, payment processing systems, and other products or services related to the approved services and products.
This arrangement allows Casiola and its affiliates to benefit from the fees and charges generated by these systems without providing any compensation or benefit to the franchisee. This means that while the franchisee is required to use the technology systems designated by Casiola, they will not share in any of the revenue or profits that Casiola or its affiliates generate from those systems.
This aspect of the franchise agreement could have significant financial implications for prospective franchisees. It is important for potential franchisees to understand that Casiola has the right to profit from these systems without sharing any of the proceeds with the franchisee. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this arrangement and its potential impact on their profitability before investing in a Casiola franchise.
