What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may face competition from various sources. Casiola franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory, meaning they could face competition from other franchisees, outlets owned by Casiola, or other distribution channels or competitive brands that Casiola controls.

Casiola also reserves the right to use other channels of distribution, such as the internet, catalog sales, telemarketing, or other direct marketing sales, to make sales within a franchisee's territory. Casiola is not obligated to compensate franchisees for sales solicited or accepted from within their territory through these alternative channels.

Furthermore, Casiola retains significant rights regarding corporate accounts. If Casiola establishes a Corporate Accounts Program, franchisees have the option to participate. However, if a franchisee chooses not to participate, Casiola can service those corporate accounts within the franchisee's territory or authorize others, including other franchisees, to do so. Casiola or its designee determines the pricing and fees for these corporate accounts and is not obligated to compensate the franchisee for customers they elected not to service under the Corporate Accounts Program. Casiola also reserves the right to affiliate with other businesses that offer similar services, even within a franchisee's operating market, as long as they do not use Casiola's licensed marks.
