What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola retains the right to modify the Bookings and Management System. This system encompasses various software and platforms used for operations, including booking, payment processing, and customer management. Casiola can modify, amend, supplement, or discontinue any part of this system based on their reasonable business judgment.

This means that Casiola franchisees must adapt to changes in technology and operational systems implemented by the franchisor. These changes could involve new software, updated procedures, or different platforms for managing bookings and customer interactions. Casiola also has direct access to all data within the Bookings and Management System.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding that the technological and operational tools used in the business are subject to change. While Casiola is expected to make these changes in their reasonable business judgment, franchisees need to be prepared to invest time and resources in learning and implementing new systems as they are rolled out. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where franchisors need the flexibility to update systems to maintain brand consistency and competitiveness.
