What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, the "First Renewal Term" is defined as a five-year period. This term begins immediately after the expiration of the initial franchise term and continues for five years.
However, this renewal is not automatic. A Casiola franchisee can only take advantage of this renewal period if they are eligible and actively choose to exercise their renewal rights, in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
In essence, after the initial term of the franchise agreement, a franchisee has the option to renew their agreement for an additional five years, provided they meet the requirements set forth in the agreement and formally invoke their right to renew.
