What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Additional Initial Training Fee' can be found in Article 4.A of the Franchise Agreement. Specifically, this fee applies if a franchisee wants more than four individuals to attend the initial training program.
The document states that if the franchisee desires to send more than four individuals to the Training Program, subject to Casiola's approval, the franchisee must pay an additional fee of $500 per additional person per day. This 'Additional Initial Training Fee' must be prepaid in advance of the training, upon submission of an invoice by Casiola to the franchisee.
This means that beyond the standard initial training provided for the Managing Owner and one manager, franchisees will incur extra costs for each additional attendee. This could significantly increase the initial investment, especially if the franchisee wishes to train a larger team before opening. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these potential additional training costs when budgeting for their Casiola franchise.
