What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, when making decisions, the company may consider factors such as its own profits, enhancing the value of its licensed marks, increasing customer satisfaction, minimizing potential customer confusion regarding the licensed marks or the location of Casiola businesses, expanding brand awareness, implementing marketing and accounting control systems, and approving products, services, supplies, and equipment.

This means that Casiola's evaluation of a franchisee's performance, including customer satisfaction, is not solely based on the franchisee's individual results. Casiola may prioritize decisions that benefit the entire system, even if those decisions do not directly improve a franchisee's customer satisfaction ratings.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding that Casiola's business decisions are made with the overall system in mind. While individual franchisee success is important, Casiola retains the right to make choices that it believes will benefit the entire brand, potentially impacting a franchisee's operations and customer satisfaction levels. Franchisees should align with this approach and understand that their business is part of a larger network where collective success is a key consideration.
