What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola retains the right to modify and designate alternative Bookings and Management Systems for the Franchised Business. Casiola will make these determinations in its Reasonable Business Judgment.
The Bookings and Management System encompasses various software and systems necessary for the Franchised Business's operations, including point of sale, payment processing, property management, booking platforms, and customer relationship management. Casiola has the authority to modify or replace these systems as deemed necessary.
This clause ensures that Casiola can adapt to changing technological landscapes and maintain consistency across all Franchised Businesses. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to adopt new systems and technologies as directed by Casiola, which could involve additional training or adjustments to their operational procedures.
