What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of "Franchisee's Casiola Business" specifies that it is the Casiola business that the franchisee operates within their designated operating market, according to the terms of the agreement. The document also states that "Franchised Business" means the Casiola Business that the Franchisee shall develop and is required to establish, maintain and operate.

Based on this definition, the Casiola Business refers specifically to the business operated by the franchisee, not the franchisor. The FDD outlines the obligations and responsibilities of the franchisee in operating their Casiola Business within their designated market.

While the franchisor has rights related to the overall system and can make decisions that impact Casiola Businesses, the definition itself focuses on the franchisee-owned and operated business. This distinction is important for prospective franchisees to understand, as it clarifies that they are responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of their specific Casiola Business.
