What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Casiola has 30 days to respond to a franchisee's request for approval of a proposed administrative office. This 30-day period begins once Casiola receives complete written information about the proposed administrative office from the franchisee.
This means that a prospective Casiola franchisee needs to submit all required information about their proposed administrative office to Casiola in a clear and comprehensive manner. The franchisee should confirm with Casiola exactly what information is needed to ensure the request is considered complete.
It is important to note that if Casiola rejects the proposed administrative office, the franchisee is still responsible for identifying and obtaining approval for an alternative location within the original time frame specified in the Franchise Agreement. Casiola's disapproval does not extend any existing deadlines or requirements outlined in the agreement. This places the onus on the franchisee to act promptly and have backup plans in case the initial location is not approved.
