What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee needs to send a replacement Operating Manager to the initial training program, they will incur a supplemental training fee. This fee is currently $750 per manager per day.
This means that if the initial training program lasts 10 days, as stated elsewhere in the FDD, the franchisee would pay $7,500 for the replacement manager to attend the training. This is in addition to any travel expenses and employee wages related to the attendance and completion of training, which the franchisee is also responsible for.
This fee structure incentivizes franchisees to ensure their initial Operating Manager is well-prepared and remains in their position. It also highlights the importance Casiola places on proper training for its managers, as evidenced by the significant cost associated with replacement training.
