What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Development Fund will not be used to directly promote an individual franchisee's Casiola business or the marketing area in which their business is located.
The Brand Development Fund is controlled and administered by Casiola and may be used for various purposes, including market studies, research, service and product development, testing, advertising and public relations services, and the creation of marketing materials. It also covers administrative costs, agency fees, and the purchase of media placements. Casiola determines how the fund is used, aiming to benefit franchisees and the Casiola system as a whole.
While the Brand Development Fund won't directly promote an individual franchisee's business, Casiola may use the fund to develop and test media and technologies that could improve the operations and marketing of Casiola businesses. Franchisees may or may not benefit from these developments. Casiola also states that they will not use the Brand Development Fund to directly market the sale of Casiola Business franchises; however, the advertising, marketing and brand development materials developed, including the System website, may contain information as to the availability of Casiola Business franchises for sale and contact information for franchise inquiries.
