What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Bookings and Management System may include portable tablet systems. The Bookings and Management System is defined as the software, internet, web-based, and/or cloud-based system, point of sale system, and customer relationship management system required for the Franchised Business. Casiola retains the right to modify and designate alternative Bookings and Management Systems.

The FDD specifies that the Bookings and Management System may include multiple point of sale systems installed at the Administrative Office. It also states that portable tablet and/or computer systems may be utilized on-site when providing services to customers. Additionally, the system may include web-based, private server-based, network-based, and/or cloud-based customer ordering, processing, production, and/or service delivery systems, as well as customer membership and rewards systems.

For a prospective Casiola franchisee, this means that the technology infrastructure they will be required to use may include a range of systems, from traditional point-of-sale terminals to portable tablets for on-site customer service. Casiola maintains the discretion to modify these systems, so franchisees need to be prepared to adapt to changes in technology and software. The franchisee should confirm with Casiola what specific hardware and software will be required at the start of operations.
