What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Bookings and Management System may include customer membership and rewards systems. The Bookings and Management System is defined as the software, internet, web-based, or cloud-based systems, point of sale systems, and customer relationship management systems that Casiola requires the Franchised Business to use. Casiola retains the right to modify and designate alternative Bookings and Management Systems.
This means that Casiola franchisees may be required to use a specific system that includes features for managing customer memberships and rewards programs. This could be beneficial for attracting and retaining customers, as loyalty programs are a common tool in the vacation rental industry.
However, Casiola also reserves the right to change the Bookings and Management Systems, which could mean that a franchisee's preferred system or existing customer rewards program might need to be replaced. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the specific Bookings and Management System currently in use, the extent to which it supports customer rewards programs, and the potential costs and implications of any future changes to the system.
