What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Casiola FDD, Casiola has the right to designate itself and/or its affiliates as the sole and exclusive supplier of certain systems and services and, in doing so, benefit from fees and charges. Specifically, Casiola can designate itself or its affiliates as the exclusive supplier of technology systems, booking systems, and payment processing systems.

This arrangement allows Casiola and its affiliates to receive fees and charges without providing any compensation or benefit to the franchisee. This means that Casiola can profit from these supplier relationships based on the franchisees' operations.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that Casiola has the potential to generate revenue from the mandatory systems and services used by the franchisee. This could impact the overall cost structure and profitability of the franchise. It is important for a prospective franchisee to understand the specific systems and services that Casiola or its affiliates exclusively supply, as well as the associated fees and charges, to fully assess the financial implications of this arrangement.
