What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Casa De Corazon Franchise Disclosure Document, any release of the franchisee's obligations regarding automatic payments must be expressly released in writing by Casa De Corazon. Specifically, to enable Casa De Corazon to receive automatic payments, the franchisee authorizes Casa De Corazon to withdraw funds from the franchisee's bank account. This authorization remains in effect until the obligations of the agreement are satisfied or expressly released in writing by Casa De Corazon.

Furthermore, the franchisee agrees that this authorization applies to any bank accounts opened during the term of the agreement and any renewal terms. If the franchisee closes any bank account, they must immediately notify Casa De Corazon in writing, open another bank account meeting Casa De Corazon's requirements, and provide all necessary documents for Casa De Corazon to continue making withdrawals.

This clause ensures that Casa De Corazon has a clear and documented process for managing payments and that any changes or releases related to payment authorizations are formally recorded in writing. This protects both the franchisor and franchisee by providing a clear audit trail and preventing misunderstandings regarding payment obligations.
