What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Casa De Corazon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Technology Fee is currently $705 per month and is payable on the tenth day of each month for the prior month. This means that a franchisee must pay the Technology Fee by the 10th of each month for the technology services they used in the previous month.
The Technology Fee covers Casa De Corazon's provision of certain technology services, such as use of an online tool to assist in the Center's operations, at least 3 email addresses, a project management platform, cloud storage for certain documents, and the Casa App. However, the FDD also states that franchisees will still need to purchase various other technologies separately.
Casa De Corazon can modify the Technology Fee with 30 days' notice, but increases are capped at 10% of the then-current fee. The franchisor can increase the fee by greater than 10% in a given year to adjust for prior years when no increase, or an increase of less than 10%, was implemented. All fees must be paid via electronic funds transfer/direct debit or other similar means, and franchisees must authorize Casa De Corazon to make direct debits from their business bank operating account.
