What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Casa De Corazon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the assistance offered before you open your Center, Casa De Corazon will review your proposed lease for your Center to confirm that it satisfies the requirements of the Franchise Agreement. This is a crucial step to ensure that the lease terms align with the franchisor's standards and protect both the franchisee and the brand.
Furthermore, before signing the lease or sublease for the premises of the Franchised Center, you must provide Casa De Corazon with a copy of your lease or sublease and the Lease Rider. This allows them to confirm that these documents meet the requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement. After the lease is signed by both you and the landlord, you must provide Casa De Corazon with a fully signed copy of both documents.
This review process is designed to ensure that the lease terms are favorable and compliant with Casa De Corazon's requirements, which can help prevent potential issues or disputes down the line. It is important to note that Casa De Corazon must approve the location of your center. Failing to meet these requirements could delay the opening of your center, or potentially lead to a termination of your Franchise Agreement.
