What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Casa De Corazon Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement does include a rider. The rider is considered part of the Franchise Agreement. After Casa De Corazon approves the franchisee's site, they will complete the rider, which includes the address of the Franchised Center and the Designated Territory. Both Casa De Corazon and the franchisee must then execute the rider.
The rider is amended if the franchisee wants to operate the Franchised Business from a location other than the one indicated in the rider, and Casa De Corazon approves the new location. The franchisee authorizes Casa De Corazon to change the location to the address of the new site approved by Casa De Corazon. The franchisee cannot operate any business other than the Franchised Business from the Franchised Center and may only operate from one location.
Furthermore, a Lease Rider is mentioned within the FDD. According to the FDD, the Lease Rider sets forth the complete agreement with the Landlord and Casa De Corazon insofar as the matters relating to the Landlord and the Premises are concerned. The Lease Rider can be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which is deemed an original, and together they constitute one and the same instrument.
