What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Casa De Corazon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at any conference the company decides to hold for franchisees is mandatory for either the franchisee or their Director or Operations Manager. The franchisee will have to pay a convention fee to cover the cost of registration. If the franchisee wants to send additional people to the Annual Conference, they will have to pay an additional registration fee for each one.
This means that as a Casa De Corazon franchisee, you must ensure that you, your Director, or your Operations Manager attends the conference. This is a mandatory requirement, and the cost of registration is covered by the convention fee. However, if you wish to send additional staff members, you will incur extra registration fees for each attendee.
Franchisors often mandate attendance at conferences to ensure franchisees stay updated on brand standards, new initiatives, and best practices. This allows for networking opportunities and fosters a sense of community within the franchise system. While mandatory attendance can be an added expense, it is generally viewed as a valuable opportunity for professional development and business improvement.
