What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Carvel's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, GoTo Foods Rewards, Inc. (referred to as "GoTo Rewards") plays a specific role within the Carvel franchise system. As an indirect subsidiary of GoTo Foods, GoTo Rewards is responsible for administering the gift card program for Carvel Shoppes and other brands that are part of the GoTo Foods Portfolio.

For a prospective Carvel franchisee, this means that GoTo Rewards handles the operational aspects of the gift card program. This includes managing the issuance, redemption, and overall tracking of gift cards used at Carvel locations. Since GoTo Rewards is an affiliate, Carvel franchisees benefit from a centralized system for gift card management, which can streamline operations and enhance customer experience.

It is important to note that GoTo Rewards shares the same principal business address as Carvel and has not conducted a business of the type that a Carvel franchisee would operate, nor has it offered franchises in any line of business. Further details about the gift card program can be found in Item 8 of the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document.
