What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Carvel's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit D provides information on franchisees as of December 31, 2024. This exhibit includes the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of current Carvel franchisees and their respective Shoppes. This information is intended to allow prospective franchisees to contact existing franchisees and learn about their experiences with the Carvel franchise system.
In addition to the information on existing franchisees, the FDD also includes the names, cities and states, and telephone numbers of franchisees who had signed Franchise Agreements but had not yet opened their Carvel Shoppes as of December 31, 2024. This provides further insight into the Carvel franchise network and its growth.
Exhibit E of the 2025 FDD contains information on former Carvel franchisees as of December 31, 2024, and also lists any transfers that occurred in 2024. Reviewing this information can help potential franchisees understand turnover within the Carvel system. Note that certain states, such as California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin, are exempt from the Franchisee Disclosure Acknowledgement.
