- An Ice Cream Truck is a Shoppe where (i) you will produce and sell a range of Carvel's products from an ice cream truck and (ii) direct operational support is provided by Carvel. We only offer Ice Cream Trucks to existing franchisees that meet our qualifications. If you operate an Ice Cream Truck, you will sign the Franchise Agreement, along with the Carvel Ice Cream Truck Schedule attached as Exhibit C to this Disclosure Document (the "Ice Cream Truck Schedule").

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Carvel's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you operate a Carvel Ice Cream Truck, you will sign the Franchise Agreement in addition to the Carvel Ice Cream Truck Schedule. The Ice Cream Truck is considered a Shoppe where you produce and sell Carvel products from a truck, with direct operational support from Carvel.
It is important to note that Carvel only offers Ice Cream Truck franchises to existing franchisees who meet their qualifications. This means a new franchisee cannot initially invest in just an Ice Cream Truck franchise. They would need to first qualify for and operate a traditional Carvel Shoppe before being considered for an Ice Cream Truck.
The Carvel Ice Cream Truck Schedule, along with other schedules like the Express Schedule and Hosted Express Schedule, are attached as Exhibit C to the Disclosure Document. These schedules likely contain specific terms and conditions relevant to the operation of each particular Shoppe format, supplementing the main Franchise Agreement.
