What is the Help Desk Access Number for Carls support services?

According to the 2024 FDD, the Help Desk Access Number for Carls is (866) 400-2253. Carls provides access to help desk support services at designated dates and times, accessible through this number or other means designated by the Licensor. Franchisees may also request support by calling the CKR's Help Desk at the access number set forth in Exhibit A, which may be modified.

To facilitate support services, franchisees must operate covered equipment according to CKR's and the manufacturer's instructions. Franchisees are also required to enter into agreements with Par Tech, Inc. or Retail Technology Group, Inc. for onsite and telephonic maintenance services, which will be billed directly to the franchisee. These agreements do not cover the cost of parts or labor needed to keep the equipment functional.

Carls requires franchisees to install specific Next Generation Connectivity equipment and services to receive support, including a Cisco Meraki Firewall/Router, Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Points, a Cisco Meraki 48 port switch, reliable internet with LTE backup, and Wi-Fi for guests and back-of-house operations. Franchisees must also contract with a CKR-approved managed service provider to monitor and maintain their network equipment.
