What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Carls's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, development training is required. As stated in Item 22, "Franchisee shall complete, to CJR's satisfaction, any development training required by CJR." This means that Carls requires franchisees to complete development training to the company's satisfaction.

Carls also offers optional development training. The franchisee is responsible for tuition fees for both the required and optional development training. The franchisee is also responsible for travel, living, and other expenses incurred while attending the training programs.
