Before CJR will consider offering Applicant a franchise opportunity, Applicant must attend a meeting at CJR's offices and at a Carl's Jr. during which Applicant will have the opportunity to meet with, and be evaluated by, various CJR personnel ("Discovery Day"). What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 FDD, before Carls will consider offering a franchise opportunity, the applicant must attend a meeting at CJR's offices and at a Carl's Jr. restaurant. This meeting, referred to as "Discovery Day," allows the applicant to meet with and be evaluated by various CJR personnel.
Carls may also require the applicant, their employees, or other designated individuals to complete other training programs, depending on Carls's assessment of their needs. These training programs, along with Discovery Day, provide the applicant and other individuals with a variety of information.
Carls considers this information confidential and requires the applicant to agree to keep it confidential. This agreement ensures that the applicant and any other individuals involved will not disclose any of the trade secrets, business methods, or other proprietary information shared during Discovery Day and the training programs.
