What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Caring Transitions Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor may require franchisees or their designated individuals to attend refresher courses, seminars, and other training programs periodically. Caring Transitions may charge a fee for this additional or ongoing training.
The franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses incurred by themselves and their trainees. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the cost of travel, room and board, wages, and any training fees charged by Caring Transitions.
While the FDD specifies that Caring Transitions may require additional training, it does not explicitly state that such training is mandatory for franchise renewal. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Caring Transitions whether these training programs are a prerequisite for renewing the franchise agreement.
