What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Caring Transitions will provide assistance via telephone, email, office visits, and Web-based programs to the extent that they deem necessary. This means that while Caring Transitions may offer support through various channels, including web-based programs, they are not obligated to do so and can determine the level of assistance provided at their discretion.

For a prospective franchisee, this implies that relying solely on web-based support from Caring Transitions may not be guaranteed. The level of web-based assistance can vary, and franchisees should be prepared to utilize other support channels such as telephone, email, and office visits. It is important to note that the franchise agreement gives Caring Transitions the latitude to decide the extent of support provided through any of these means.

Furthermore, Caring Transitions also provides franchisees with access to an intranet website that contains digital advertisements, layouts, and images for use in various media, as well as templates for business cards and stationery. Franchisees also receive electronic access to forms for reporting sales, ordering supplies, and communicating with the franchisor. While these web-based resources are available, the franchisor retains the right to modify, revise, or cancel any website they provide for the franchised business.

In summary, while Caring Transitions offers web-based assistance and resources, the provision of these services is not guaranteed, and the level of support is subject to the franchisor's discretion. Prospective franchisees should consider this when evaluating the level of ongoing support they can expect and should be prepared to utilize multiple support channels.
