What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, during the operation of the franchised business, Caring Transitions will provide assistance via telephone, email, office visits, and Web-based programs to the extent they deem necessary. This means that while Caring Transitions offers multiple channels for support, including email, the level and method of assistance are subject to Caring Transitions' discretion.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies that while email support is available, it is not guaranteed at a specific frequency or response time. The franchisee should not rely solely on email for urgent issues, as Caring Transitions determines the extent of support provided through each channel. This discretionary approach to support is relatively common in franchising, where franchisors balance the needs of individual franchisees with the resources available to support the entire network.
It is important for potential Caring Transitions franchisees to understand that the level of support can vary. While Caring Transitions commits to providing assistance through various means, the ultimate decision on how much and what kind of support is provided rests with them. A franchisee should clarify during the due diligence process what level of email support they can expect, what types of issues are best addressed via email versus other channels, and what the typical response times are.
Prospective franchisees should consider asking existing franchisees about their experiences with Caring Transitions' support system, including the responsiveness and effectiveness of email support, to gain a better understanding of what to expect in practice.
