According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Rebate Period' is a defined timeframe during which a franchisee can achieve certain gross receipt milestones and receive a rebate of a portion of their franchise fee. The Rebate Period for a Caring Transitions franchise begins on the Commencement Date, which is the first day of the month following the completion of the initial training program.

The Rebate Period concludes on the day before the fifth anniversary of the Commencement Date. Therefore, the franchisee has a five-year window from their commencement date to meet the gross receipt targets to qualify for the rebate program.

To be eligible for any rebates, the Caring Transitions franchisee must strictly comply with all obligations under any agreement with the franchisor throughout the entire Rebate Period. This includes timely reporting of gross receipts, and timely payment of all royalties, national branding fees, technology fees, and other amounts due under the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee must also attend all franchise system national and regional conferences and required on-site training centers, and execute a general release in a form prescribed by Caring Transitions prior to each rebate.
