What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the payment sent to C.T. Franchising Systems, Inc. is a payment to be applied toward the initial franchise fee. Upon receipt of the payment, Caring Transitions will reserve the selected territory for 30 days, provided it has not been previously sold or reserved. This payment is considered fully earned and non-refundable in exchange for removing the territory from the market for 30 days and foregoing other sales opportunities.
The final territory boundaries will be determined within 30 days of receipt of the payment and Remittance Form, subject to availability and population guidelines outlined in Item 5 of the FDD. If a Franchise Agreement is not executed within these 30 days, Caring Transitions reserves the right to keep the payment and sell the territory without further obligation to the potential franchisee.
This Remittance Form, accompanied by the payment, constitutes the entire agreement regarding the territory reservation and supersedes any prior agreements or representations. The agreement is governed by Ohio law, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, Ohio. The document also confirms that no financial prospects of the franchise have been made other than what is contained in the FDD and does not act as a release, estoppel, or waiver of any liability arising under any state franchise registration or disclosure law.
