What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Caring Transitions does not provide an estimate of the costs associated with future maintenance, upgrades, updates, enhancements, modifications, and replacements to the Communication and Information System. However, the FDD does outline the franchisee's responsibilities regarding the Communication and Information System.
According to the FDD, the franchisee is solely and completely responsible for how their Communication and Information System interfaces with other systems, including those of Caring Transitions and third parties. The franchisee also bears the consequences if the Communication and Information System is not properly operated, maintained, and upgraded. Furthermore, Caring Transitions may require franchisees to upgrade and update their Communication and Information System as specified in writing.
Prospective franchisees should consider the potential financial impact of these requirements. Since Caring Transitions does not provide specific cost estimates, it is important for potential franchisees to discuss these potential expenses with the franchisor and current franchisees to better understand the ongoing investment needed to maintain and update the Communication and Information System.
