What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Transitions's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use the Caring Transitions Marks in accordance with the franchisor's guidelines on all advertising and promotional materials. The agreement specifies that 'advertising' includes a wide range of media, such as signs, websites, and internet listings.

The FDD states that Caring Transitions retains ownership of copyrights for all advertising and marketing materials used in the franchised business, including those developed by the franchisee. Any materials created by the franchisee and approved by Caring Transitions can be used by the franchisor and other franchisees without compensating the originating franchisee.

While the document does not explicitly state that Caring Transitions provides pre-designed advertising templates, it does say that franchisees must adhere to the franchisor's standards for marketing and advertising. Additionally, Caring Transitions has the right to control the design and content of any website associated with the franchise. It also mentions the possibility of establishing local or regional marketing cooperatives, which franchisees may be required to join. These cooperatives could potentially develop advertising templates or strategies for their region.

Prospective franchisees should inquire with Caring Transitions about the availability of advertising and promotional templates, as well as the level of support provided for local marketing efforts. Understanding the specific resources and guidelines available will be crucial for effectively marketing their franchise and adhering to the franchisor's standards.
