What happens if a Caring Transitions franchisee does not comply with the System Standards?

According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee's failure to adhere to the System Standards constitutes a material default of the Franchise Agreement. System Standards include the uniform specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules prescribed by Caring Transitions for the development and operation of the franchised business. These standards can be modified and supplemented by Caring Transitions at its discretion during the term of the agreement and are communicated in the Manual or in writing.

If a franchisee violates the restrictions related to marketing and solicitation in another franchisee's protected territory, this also constitutes a material default. In such cases, the franchisee must remit to Caring Transitions all gross receipts earned or received from the prohibited activities within 10 days of receiving written notice of the violation.

Caring Transitions emphasizes the importance of maintaining uniform operating standards to protect the brand's reputation and goodwill. Franchisees are expected to comply with all System Standards, as failure to do so can lead to financial penalties and potential breach of the franchise agreement.
